For rigid pavements, the thickness includes all PCC layers that provide structural strength to the roadway, whether reinforced or unreinforced. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This dataset supports pavement performance modeling, design verification, and condition forecasting. It is reviewed and updated annually as part of ITD’s Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) submittal to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). </SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;">These are current "working" records.
